I am a very experienced teacher having worked for over 12 years in an English secondary school. Since moving to Switzerland in 2015 I have worked as a after-school English tutor for infants to secondary age children. My teaching philosophy is that all students should be given every opportunity to fulfil their potential and achieve their goals. I am able to establish positive working relationships with not only students but also their parents and fellow teachers, all with the aim at all times, of promoting and reinforcing a student’s independence and self-esteem.

I committed to good practise and innovation in education particularly using new technologies and have always looked for exciting and imaginative ways of extending education beyond the classroom.

I am anxious to utilise my skills, knowledge and experience to provide high value support for students in their secondary education, either in a classroom setting or their own homes.
