MY EXPERIENCE:

I'm a graduate in Multilingual Communication at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Geneva. In 2018, I moved to Germany for a year and became an AuPair. The purpose of this gap year being to develop my knowledge of the German language, improve my fluency and expand my vocabulary. I developed my linguistic skills and understanding, but I also grew as an individual through an immersive cultural experience and interaction with natives. My Erasmus experience in England and Germany allowed me to improve my written skills in English and German.

As for my professional experience, over the past five years I have been tutoring students in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, teaching in Italian, German, French and Spanish respectively. Additionally, I have held beginner level courses for both children and adults.

After university, I worked for a year as an Italian translator for the Federal Administration, where I used to translate from German and French into Italian. I'm currently employed as a Project Manager for a translation agency.

I OFFER:

All the courses offered are adapted to the students' needs and wishes. Based on the needs, I sometimes prepare JamBoard presentations, interactive games (particularly for children), customized worksheets and texts. The price includes the correction of short homework (when needed).

- Italian: conversation, reading, writing, basic grammar

- German: reading, conversation, oral and written comprehension, grammar, helping with homework, preparation for tests

A key element in the tutoring process is to convey the necessary knowledge in a clear (and fun) way. The goal of the commitment is for the student to achieve good results and acquire a good understanding of the topic.
