Samantha

I am a PhD student at the University of Basel, pursuing a degree in politics. I studied in Germany for three years at an international university. I have always loved education, especially my courses in History, Politics and English. I won national awards for my writing during my high school career. My love for learning comes through in my tutoring and I believe my experience makes me a successful tutor that meets the different needs of unique students. I will tailor my sessions and their pace to each student's needs from editing essays to reviewing for exams.

During the past three years, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for two different professors and as a team member for a residential college. In the courses I was assigned, I dealt with students from over 100 different nations. I have educated myself situationally in intercultural communication styles and I believe that my academic passion contributed to students' success.
