I TEACH SUCCESSFULLY ONLINE. I am a native speaker of English. I was born in London. At school, I studied Latin (the root of two thirds of English), a little Greek and modern languages: French, Spanish, Italian, German, even a little Russian. I am a wordsmith and passionate about language.

Learning a language is not difficult. It must be fun...a lifelong exploration and adventure.

With regard to guitar tuition, I have been playing on and off alongside my career for over fifty years. I teach most styles and different types: electric, folk, classical, base. One of my tutors was a student of Andrés Segovia, the grandfather of the guitar. I give lessons on theory, songwriting and performance (as well as overcoming stage fright) if required. I believe in the healing power of music and give the occasional lecture/concert entitled "The History, Essence and Beauty of the Guitar".
