Profiles undergo a multi-stage quality assurance process. In addition, tutors have the option of verifying their profile. For this we use the same system that banks use, for example. You can recognise a verified profile by the “Verified” label next to the person’s name.
We also have a very reliable rating system – the ratings give you a good indication of the quality and trustworthiness of the tutor. You can also view the response rate, last login date, uploaded CVs, certificates and references in each profile. This allows you to assess whether the person is active on our platform and what experiences others have had with them.
For example, you can assume that a person is reputable if their profile meets the following criteria:
- a profile picture suitable for job applications
- at least two good reviews
- an appealing introductory text
- references (already uploaded or available on request)
