ich bin eine erfahrene Deutschlehrerin und biete Online-Sprachunterricht an.

My name is Katharina. I hold a Master's degree in German Literature and languages. I am a native German speaker who offers 1 to 1 (or small group) German online lessons.

I taught German as a foreign language and Business German full time from 2011 to 2014 (Berlin/Germany, 500+ students, all levels). In 2015 I switched to online tutoring and since then have been working for several online language providers.

My teaching approach is very customer-oriented meaning that I adapt my teaching styles and material to the student's needs and learning goals.

During our first session I will evaluate your level of German. Based on your skills and your personal goals I will then either propose a coursebook or will provide you with teaching materials. I always give homework assignments and will correct them in between lessons.

Oral communication and vocabulary are my main focus.
