Information on tutoring
Personal description
I am a graduate of the British International School of Chicago in Chicago IL. In high school I completed the IB diploma program, as a part of which I studied chemistry, biology, French, English, mathematics and business management. Currently I study biochemistry at the University of Geneva.
I fluently speak both English and French therefore teaching English to French students is not an obstacle for me.
Since June 2020 I have been working with a non-profit Chicago HOPES for Kids where I tutor children from underprivileged families in English and mathematics.
During my high school career I also tutored primary and middle school students in French at my school.
I offer one-on-one tutoring sessions in English that I adapt to the student’s ability and knowledge of the language. The cost of a one hour session is 30 CHF (negotiable upon request). My goals for the lessons are always tailored to the student’s needs and my approaches are personalised in order to facilitate a productive learning environment. I am committed to my students and always aim for them to succeed in their studies!
