Almost Native

I am a thirty year old ESL teacher from Ireland with two years experience teaching ESL students in person and online. I have lived in Switzerland for almost a year, having obtained a self employment B certificate.

I have experience with all ages and proficiency levels and have prepared students for the Cambridge and IELTS exams. I would describe my teaching method as immersive in that I use dynamic activities in my lessons which increase students confidence in their use of English. My lessons enable an enjoyable learning experience while still ensuring students learn the skills of reading, speaking listening and writing effectively.

I create a personalised learning plan for each student based on their proficiency level and goals for learning English. Which includes lesson topics based on their interests.
