Hello!

My name is Joe and I am experienced in: teaching English as a foreign language, tutoring in secondary school and university level (to master's degree) psychology and statistics, secondary school English and classical literature.

As a lover of the English language and creative writing from a young age, I have always relished putting words together.

It is therefore no surprise that my professional experience since leaving university - with a master's and bachelor's degree combining science, psychology and art - has been centred around my two main passions: language and the human mind.

These passions were well engaged and challenged at the end of this year when I decided to take the CELTA English-teaching course at the Centre of English Studies, Dublin. I passed the course with a Pass B grade (upper percentile), my tutors both citing my lesson planning and (especially) teaching materials as superb.

If you are interested in improving in any of these areas I have mentioned, don't hesitate to contact me. I am meticulous and hard-working, but also fun and approachable (enjoying the process is always the best way to learn).
