Personal description

Mathematics can also be learned from real world examples. It's more interesting and motivating, and it was mainly how math came about originally. Maybe you learn better this way or by using alternative techniques? Its important to drill standard problem excercises, and we will do that to pass exams, but it doesn't do much for properly understanding math and how it is used in your future studies (and work). The goal is that you enjoy math!

About me, I am switching into teaching after many years as an engineer in research and development. I loved math since primary, all through my Master's and have used it a lot in my profession, and I can show you in simple ways how it works in the real world of nature and life in general. I have a modern teaching certificate from Harvard, which is based on interactive and multiple ways of learning, also suitable for ADHD, Dyslexia and Asperger diversity. Bi-lingual English speaker, basic French level. Married and a daughter of 20 years old.

I also teach informatics, including programming and how to invent apps.

Available mid-July to end of August and from 2nd half of September, daytime and early evening. Sessions are 2h @ 25.-/h.
