Hey there,

My name is Nico and after finishing my Swiss matura and a year of military, I am studying Computer Science at ETH. My best (and favorite) subjects have always been maths, physics and English. I was born and raised in Switzerland, and at the age of 15 I spent a year in the USA. Therefore, I am fluent in both English and German, which allows me to tutor my subjects in both languages or even bilingually if required. The subjects I offer averaged well above passing grades during my time in the Swiss Gymnasium.

I believe it is very important to transfer knowledge in form of understanding and not only learning by heart. My goal is that my lessons are experienced not as a chore, but as an intuitive experience to benefit from.

Mein Name ist Nico. Nach meinem Maturaabschluss in Zug und dem Durchdiener studiere ich nun an der ETH Zürich. Meine besten (und liebsten) Fächer waren schon immer Mathematik, Physik und Englisch. Ich bin in der Schweiz aufgewachsen und als ich 15-16 Jahre alt war, habe ich ein Jahr (Austauschjahr mit EF) in den USA verbracht. Daher spreche ich sowohl Englisch als auch Deutsch fliessend, was es mir ermöglicht, die drei Fächer bei Bedarf in beiden Sprachen oder sogar zweisprachig zu unterrichten. In den angeboten Fächer hatte ich in meiner gesamten "Schulkarriere" immer sehr gute Noten.

Ich glaube, dass es sehr wichtig ist, Wissen in Form von Verständnis zu vermitteln und nicht nur in Form von auswendiglernen.
